CODY
CHENXI WANG
Co-Founder & President
When studying politics and philosophy at the London School of Economics (LSE), Cody was approached by Zhejiang University to pilot a youth publication project. Through contacting local universities, research institutes and the Prime Ministers of some countries, he gathered a team of 36 authors and 10 editors to work on the project. Eventually, this became the cornerstone of YBNR International. Currently, he is interning at a village government in rural Northern China. He is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
“The future that awaits includes unique opportunities for our generation. Yet, there are also severe threats to all aspects of our well- being. We, the young people of the world, have a duty and vested interest to envision and shape the world of tomorrow. Against the contemporary global backdrop, it is essential to form an international youth-based, youth-led platform that sets its eyes on the long-term stakes of humanity. This is why I founded YBNR International.”
